Village Accounts
MEANING
The numbered set of registers every revenue village must maintain — pahani, demand, collection, births of new rights.
Abolished in practice during the Dharani years, village accounts are back under Section 13 of the Bhu Bharati Act 2025: every change in the RoR must flow into them. Historically maintained by the patwari, then the VRO; now the Grama Palana Officer's charge.
