Kunta
కుంట MEANING
A small pond or minor tank — the cheruvu's little sibling, with a nine-metre buffer of its own.
Village kuntas silt up, get ploughed, and vanish into layouts — which is why the buffer rules name them specifically. Not to be confused with the land measure gunta, though speech blurs the two.
