MEANING

The owner's book — a passbook-cum-title deed issued to every recorded landholder.

Under Section 10 of the Bhu Bharati Act 2025 a certified passbook has the evidentiary value of a registered document, must eventually carry the survey map, and records bank loan charges electronically — a bank cannot insist on keeping the physical book.
