Rythu Bharosa

MEANING

The per-acre investment support for farmers — ₹12,000 an acre a year, paid season by season into the pattadar's account.

Successor to the BRS-era Rythu Bandhu (₹10,000), rolled out from early 2025 with ROFR patta holders included. Payment rides on the land record, so every RoR error becomes a Rythu Bharosa grievance; a companion scheme, Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa, supports landless agricultural labour households.
