MEANING

A Government Order — the instrument by which the state government decides anything; Ms. for standing orders, Rt. for routine ones.

G.O.Ms. (Manuscript series) carries policy and permanence; G.O.Rt. (Routine) covers postings and day-to-day decisions. Cited as "G.O.Ms.No. 39, Revenue, dt. 14-04-2025". Old G.O.s are hunted on goir.telangana.gov.in.
